No Stranger to bones, Nicholas Althoff studied Biomechanics while at the University of Notre Dame and did research with Zimmer Corporation studying new ways to extract bone for joint replacement. He is the owner and founder of Northstar Fitness, the region's only dedicated private personal training studio. He designed not only some of the latest resistance training equipment, he has spent over 7 years studying the mechanics and importance of loading on bones, and has seen first hand the impact of what common practices towards weight loss has resulted in not only loss of muscle but also bones and a degradation of ones health. Through the process he's developed, he has proven the direct correlation between strengthening muscles, eating a science based balanced diet, and regular renewal to one's overall health. And the importance of personalization towards a great experience and creating a sustainable, healthy routine to live a healthy, vibrant life.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Jackie has a strong commitment to holistically approaching health and movement.
